Grenoble, 13 March 2006 - ProCurve Networking by HP has honoured its top Elite partners with awards recognising their vital contribution to the company's growth and successes over the past 12 months.
Industrial Management Technology & Contracting Company (IMTAC) LLC, Oman
received the Elite Regional Top Performer for Middle East. The award recognises the Elite partner in each region that has secured the best revenue performance, highest percentage of business from solution sales, and the most certifications.
ProCurve networking solutions have been adopted by several organizations in Oman including Sultan Qaboos University, Ministry of health, Ministry of education and Bank Dhofar to name a few. The adoption choice was made as a result of a careful study of what the market has to offer, HP's superior price/performance and experience and expertise of Imtac as HP's partner.
"Our partners are vital to our business success and it is important for us to recognise the work that they have done to take ProCurve products to end users," said Paul Karadi, business development manager, EMEA, ProCurve Networking by HP. "These awards recognise outstanding contributions, not only across individual regions, but also across EMEA as a whole. It's vital that we reward our partners as a part of our ongoing commitment to them."
"ProCurve by HP has unique values; Price/Performance leadership, reduced complexity, security, reliability and choice and flexibility. Our Elite partners are our arm to extend these values to the market and add the professional services to deliver our solutions" said Ahmed Khatib, business development manager, Gulf & Eastern Mediterranean, ProCurve Networking by HP.
"Imtac has invested heavily in its overall solution design, network deployment and mission critical support ability" as per Vinesh Malik, GM IT Division, Imtac. " It is this ability that our customers recognize and reward", he added.
ProCurve is making significant investment in the Elite partner network across EMEA and the Elite partner event held in Dubai in February this year served to further demonstrate this commitment. To be considered as an Elite Partner, a reseller must have multi-site installation capabilities and have a pre- and post-sales call centre. They should be able to deal with issues 24/7 with a product replacement time of less than one business day. Service & Support selling is intended to be a primary focus of all ProCurve Elite Partners representing greater than 30% of their Networking business.
