ProCurve warranties: what's so special about them?

In 1993, ProCurve Networking by HP became the first company to offer networking products with a lifetime warranty. ProCurve's ability to offer this level of warranty—and to continue offering it so many years later—is a testament to the unparalleled reliability of the ProCurve products and the legendary HP quality from which they arise.
In a real sense, ProCurve's warranty can yield a tangible return on investment for an organization. When your network stays up and running, you experience little to no down time—which means business isn't disrupted, your people stay productive, and work continues to flow.

In addition, for many organizations—especially education, government and businesses where budgets are tight and every cost must be carefully weighed—ProCurve's free lifetime warranty means saving considerable sums of money on service contracts. In many cases, organizations take the money they would have spent on service contracts and reinvest it toward additional IT equipment and software, more staff or other business-critical products or resources.

ProCurve's warranty programs
More than 95 percent of ProCurve products come standard with a lifetime warranty with next-business-day advance replacement for as long as you own the product. “Advance” replacement means you don't have to wait while you return a problem product before a replacement is delivered; ProCurve replaces the product as soon as you say you need it.

The ProCurve lifetime warranty covers the entire product, including fans and power supplies. It also includes phone support for the life of the product, during the extended business hours 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. (CET) Monday through Friday for Europe and South Africa, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (UAE) Saturday - Thursday for the Middle East, North Africa and Russia, as well as software updates for the life of the product. (Note: Software updates include patches or bug fixes for a specific software version for a specific product. Software upgrades—rolling to a new software version—require an additional upgrade fee.)
