ProCurve's new router scores high with scalability, ease of use and lifetime warranty
Grenoble, FRANCE - December 21, 2005 - HP ProCurve Networking today announced the publishing of a comprehensive product testing report for its recently introduced ProCurve SR 7102dl Secure Router which positions the product as a good solution for SMBs and branch offices.
As ProCurve Networking's first foray into the WAN market, the 7000dl Series of Secure Routers represent a key element in the development of a full range of networking infrastructure products being introduced by the growing networking business unit of HP.
Among the conclusions reached in the testing and highlighted in the report are:
- Good balance between simplicity and rich features
- The SR 7102dl is a strong solution for SMB, branch office or managed service packaged environments
- The SR 7102dl is easy to deploy and manage
- The SR 7102dl performed well in scalability and QoS tests

Featuring a full range of rigorous tests in various environments and configurations, the tests were conducted and the report compiled by Broadband-Testing, one of Europe's foremost independent network testing facilities and consultancy organisations for broadband and network infrastructure products.
