A thorough understanding of the ProCurve Networking revolutionary strategy, the Adaptive EDGE Architecture, is key to winning sales and providing the market-leading services that customers have come to expect from HP ProCurve Networking.

There are two sales certifications for ProCurve Networking. The Accredited Sales Professional certification is the first certification available to sales representatives. Those who wish to continue in the certification path can become Accredited Sales Consultants.

Note: All ProCurve Networking Sales Certifications are "low-stakes" exams with a focus on knowledge. Exams are available on the web.

Sales training courses and certification


Accredited Sales Professional (ASP) - ProCurve Networking [2008]

Target audience: Reseller and HP Sales Representatives who recommend ProCurve Networking products and solutions.

Description: The ProCurve Accredited Sales Professional designation certifies that an individual is knowledgeable of networking concepts and can describe the features, functions and positioning of the products in the ProCurve Networking portfolio. It also certifies that the candidate has the sales skills to understand the customer's business environment and can recommend an ProCurve Networking product or solution to meet the customer's networking needs.

Training course: ProCurve Sales Professional Training v8.11 - 1 day instructor-led and self paced training is offered.

To be certified at a given level, a candidate must pass the exam(s) described above. Training courses are available to prepare for each exam. While taking the courses is not required, successfully completing the courses will help insure the student is prepared for an exam.

Note: The Accredited Sales Professional and Accredited Sales Consultant certifications are "low-stakes" exams with a focus on knowledge. Exams are available on the web.

Target audience: ProCurve Networking channel partner sales representatives.

Description: The ProCurve Networking Sales Consultant course provides the sales representatives the skills required to engage their customers at an executive level. It enables them to gain a deeper understanding of their customer's mission-critical business issues and to design a comprehensive ProCurve Networking solution based on the Adaptive EDGE Architecture strategy to meet their customers' evolving networking requirements.
